WELCOME

York Technical College in partnership with the North Carolina and South Carolina Regional Offices of HUD will host the SC/NC Home Energy Efficiency Conference on April 5-6, 2006 at the Baxter M. Hood Continuing Education Center on the campus of York Technical College.

This unique “must experience” event will provide information on the newest technologies and energy efficient applications for single and multi-family homes. Also, the Home Energy Efficiency Conference offers providers of energy saving products and services and exceptional opportunities to connect with the major government agencies in the home market in the Carolinas.

The Conference will show case:

-the important of energy efficiency and conservation.
-the Energy Star program for single and multi-family housing.
-how to select an energy efficient contractor and how to select energy efficient
  products.
-financing energy efficiency.
-implementing energy efficiency in new construction and rehabilitation for single
  family and multi-family homes and public housing.
